Drink water to lose weight

T drinking water before a meal to help lose weight? That is the question of Anahad O'Connor today "Really?" Column explored.

    Dieters are encouraged to use this trick for ages, on the ground quite simple: The water fills the stomach, and thus hunger. But only in recent years, studies have confirmed this fact.

    In the most recent randomized study in the journal Obesity, published in February, followed by scientists at Virginia Tech, a group of 55 obese subjects, and even in the low-calorie diet for about three months. Half the people were asked to drink two glasses of water before each meal. At the end of the study group had an average reduction of water at 15.5, compared to £ 11 in the other group.
